Cindy Thompson is a veterinary technician at the Country Vet. She has been working at the Country Vet since it opened in 2007. Cindy grew up and graduated from high school in Spencerport. Cindy then went to Medialle College in Buffalo for her Veterinary Technology degree. She now lives in Hamlin with her family, 2 dogs; Drew & Coco and 4 cats; Thunder, Enzo, Jeebo, and Baron.







Jennifer Cornell- Veterinary Technician
Jennifer graduated from Alfred State College’s Veterinary Technology program in 2007. She joins us in September 2016 bringing 8 years prior experience in the field. Jennifer previously worked at LollyPop Farm and Scottsville Veterinary.
Jennifer  lives in Greece with her 3 rescue dogs: Milo, Daffodil & Gretel.




Cheryl Ford – Veterinary Assistant

Cheryl joined our team in July of 2016.  She shares her life with her husband, Joe and her two children, Joe JR & Alicia.  She also has three dogs named Molly, Montana, and Sassy; as well as four cats.  
On her off time, Cheryl enjoys painting, crafts, camping, hiking, biking and long walks with her dogs.  She has rescued for over 28 years.  Due to her love of animals, Cheryl has enjoyed many jobs involving working with her four legged friends, including kennel attending.

Theresa grew up in the Greece area and moved to Hilton after getting married. She has 3 grown boys. She has two yellow labs; Kimber and Genny, and two cats; Chip and Chester. Animals have always been a big part of her life. To her, she feels there is nothing more rewarding than working with animals on a daily basis.







Stacey Baker – Receptionist
Stacey came to the Country Vet in April 2016 after working at a kennel for many years.  Stacey resides in Kendall, NY with her husband, Jim.  She has two children, Megan and Kyle, as well as a grandchild named Bailee.
Stacey has two dogs; a rescued Chihuahua named Gracie and a Boston Terrier named Sweet Caroline.  Two lovely kitties are also part of the Baker family, Molly and Mario.

Melissa began working at the Country Vet as a receptionist in the beginning of September of 2014.  She has an background working with a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, aquatic life as well as other exotic animals.  She has been training dogs professionally in 2008, practicing positive training techniques.  Melissa has experience training puppy and adult classes as well as clicker training and CGC testing.

Melissa grew up just south of Buffalo where her family raised Labrador retriever puppies.   Currently, she has two white German shepherds; Ace & Chloe, that love to hike and swim. She also has three cats; Bella, Sunny, & Nina.  Other hobbies include painting, gardening and designing.  Melissa has also earned associate’s and bachelor’s degrees in interior design. She has also been remodeling in her spare time.






Darlene Fimano – Receptionist


Darlene was born in Auburn, NY. She has an older brother and younger sister. She has lived in Rochester since 1999. She has a teenage son, Mitch. She also works as a nanny for three young girls along with her job at The Country Vet. She enjoys all types of exercise, reading, and studying health and nutrition. She has four cats that she absolutely adores, named Minnie, Leroy, Emmie and Nuggie.
